Dark Today

Today's depth is mystifying but just as dark as the ocean's. It's liquid, too and is seeping in through the cracks in my disposition. I fear the only cure for this depression is the great outdoors; I will thus be weeding and pruning, watering and raking for the next 4 hours or until I can clear this fog from my consciousness.
This will also be the last fire update I post. I went to Fallbrook for work today and took the above pictures on my way in and out of the town. The devastation is unbearable. The entire town wreeks of soot and char; vast sections of the once lush and beautiful city have been reduced to blackened ghosts of trees and desolate scorched hillsides.
