The smoke in the sky on the horizons to the south and north this morning looks just like a marine layer that we'd normally see down by the coast. But it's not. It's so much more smoke coverage than we saw last night. We still can't smell anything and there's no ash in the air which means it's not really advancing toward us.
The Wich fire has merged with the Poomacha fire.
Just heard that the De Luz fire which is threatening Fallbrook is 70% contained!
The Riverside fire in Temecula has NOT merged with the North County fire yet.
Malibu fire 90% contained.
Just about 1 million people have been evacuated since Sunday.
