Californy is the place you ought to be...

...So they loaded up the truck and moved to Beverly.

Well, not really, but my mom and brother did pack a few suitcases and flew out to stay with me in SoCal for a few days.

The weather was LAME but we still managed to have great fun in La Jolla, Disneyland and Ross.

It was really hard for me to see them go, emotionally I wasn't ready for them to leave yet. Having family come here to visit is so very different from visiting them in PA. There's a serious disconnect when you move so far from home to set up a new life but having mom and Zac come out here bridged that gap a little more for me.

Mom and Bea got it pretty high

These clouds did not bode well for the next few days.

La Jolla Cove. The waves were ridiculously scary due to the onset of the storm but they insisted on going down to the beach. We took our lives in our hands that day.

Me and my brother. Okay, so the waves don't look that bad but in person it was really terrifying...kind of.
