B's Under Sea Birthday Party. The crepe paper streamers (in addition to being just a totally awesome birthday decoration throwback) were meant to look like ocean waves.
As the kids arrived we had them make a fish to add to the ocean. See the "ocean" over there to the left hanging on the wall? Later in the party I announced the winner of the fish decorating contest.
We asked party guests to bring homemade cards or drawings for B instead of gifts. When the kids showed up I pinned their creations to a clothes line that was hung in the kitchen over the snack table.
