A Moment of Silence

Today is the last day for dealing with parking-lot freeways and two hours of driving every day. But it's also the last day at a school that has grown this little baby girl

into a curious, intelligent, hardworking, respectful young lady.

D and I are forever in debt to the teachers and staff at Ridgemoor Elementary for their dedication to their students.

Yesterday was a most excellent end of the year party. But for us it was so much more. It was nostalgia in the making. What a wonderful way to bid farewell to the school and teachers that will forever shape B's personality and intellectual pursuits.

Friends, Jesus is so good. B's educational experience is a drop in the bucket of the things that are happening in this world, but still He is faithful to show up in every little thing. In every teacher, every classroom on this campus; every decision that seems life changing, every memory. I'm at a loss for words to express my gratitude. We love Him because He first loved us, and Oh! how He loves us.
