In other news....

apparently it's officially the Christmas season in California. And how do I know that, you ask? No, it's not the rows and rows of pre-lit christmas trees at Home Depot or the aisles of giant inflatable holiday lawn bric-a-brac at Lowe's; it's not even the extremely distasteful holiday commercials promoting everything from 'holiday decorations' to 'boots for the entire family' (ps. boots? in southern california? come on, Payless.) ANYWAY, my point is that while lunching at our local Red Robin on Saturday we noticed a giant Times Square-ish Christmas tree adorning the center of the Temecula Mall (the only available shopping in the tri-city area)....and so, with that, we have the Holiday Season, and the beginning of a certain spell of time which I like to call the "never going to Temecula between the hours of 8am and 10pm again until February" spell.
Thank you, online shopping. You truly make it a Merry Christmas.
