With Beatrice learning to read and spell at an astounding pace, she thought it would be fun (not to mention grab my attention much more effectively) if she spelled, rather than spoke, questions to me. For instance:
"M.O.M.M.Y. D.O. Y.O.U. want T.O. P.L.A.Y. A. G.A.M.E. with M.E.?"
She says the words she doesn't know how to spell yet. I've glommed on to this new habit of hers more for the fun of it than the learning experience.
