mmm Brownies...
Brownie season is drawing to a close and we're going out with a bang. Coming up in the next month is Daddy/Daughter Park Day, Backyard Camping, and our Sea World trip. It's going to be a whirlwind of activity before summer break! Again, I cannot stress enough (especially to you parents of singletons) what a positive impact Girl Scouts has had on B. Based solely on our experience I dare say that it's the number one activity I would recommend to parents of female only children. The interaction is so fulfilling for her, and the fact that it's a group of same sex peers is very reassuring for me. It's my strong hope that she'll make lifelong friends with some of the girls in the troop. And I have to say that as a moderate-to-heavily involved mom, Brownies is the perfect mix of hands on and hands off! I think Bea and I both get exactly what we need from troop activities. So. Enough about that now, here are some year end pictures!

Bea has to be the CUTEST in that final picture. Talk about experience. (I'm surprised her tongue wasn't sticking out, or she isn't rolling her eyes.)

Sounds like Brownies is so much fun. I wanted to join when I was little.
Bea is adorable! I'm sure she'll make some lifelong friends from Brownies/Girl Scouts. As an ex-Brownie, I can say that I still have a real friend or two from my troopin' days. :)
so umm, ya I cried when I received her picture in the mail. Just a little. Like a tear or two. But seriously she was just drinking out of a sippy cup with her eyes closed. COME ON!
