What I'm Reading
I just finished up J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit which was excellent as ever, and quite a different read now, too, that I'm older.
I also just read the new Berkley Breathed (Opus) "novel" Flawed Dogs, expanded to novel form from the original illustrated picture book.
Now I'm working on my next book club book Alice Hoffman's (Practical Magic) new novel The Red Garden.

I know this blog is all about great books to read, but aren't you so excited that filming of the hobbit has begun?!!! (started about 2 weeks ago) should be splendid!
