I just looked down at my desk and thought that the jumble of items laying there perfectly summarizes my outlook for 2008. My can't-live-without day planner (thanks mom!) my everymusic-i-own-is-on-here ipod, my brand new "music to check out" journal (thanks baby!), trader joe's 'wintry blend' coffee in my new footed coffee mug (thanks dan and carly!), water water water, a totally munched apple core and a pencil...must love pencils.
