Dave surprised me with much needed time away for just the two of us this weekend. He's taking me to Las Vegas and the timing could not be better. With Bea off-track from school and me working with some of the most un-cooperative bands it seems I'm doing equal opportunity baby sitting. And man-o-man do I need a break. So off we go at 3pm today never to return! (until tomorrow evening)
In other news, Bea recently said the sweetest words I've ever heard:
"Mama, when I get big as you I'm gonna do what you do...I'm gonna wash the floors and clean and vacuum and do the dishes just like you do."
