well well well.

So I considered starting off by saying 'we're having a baby' but decided that would just be really really insensitive and probably the biggest half truth ever. Instead I'll say we're having a Neighbor Baby and that this is as close as I'll get to being an aunty for probably a long time. Micah and Nat are having a little tiny baby girl and I am so excited I think I might scream...which is fairly typical of women so I suppose I'm playing right into the gender stereotype. (think Scrubs: "awww look at the baby!") Even though Dave and I have decided that having another baby is not in the cards for us the decision is not without it's heavy sense of finality. But now that our dear dear friends are having a wee one, Dave and I are practically giddy with anticipation of holding and rocking and cooing to a new baby.

And just for the record, I KNEW it was going to be a girl.

I knew it was going to be a girl as well Shan! I'm super excited for them. :) That post was too cute.
