Snow in Las Vegas? Interesting. Box of See's Candy from B's teacher for Christmas? Awesome. It's cold outside, Newport Road is closed due to flooding from yesterday's rain. We leave tomorrow morning to fly to Erie for Christmas Vacation. We're packed, but the house needs to be cleaned and Dave has to get to Fontana for a hair cut. Cleaned out the fridge before the trip so there's nothing for dinner tonight. I'm contemplating Chipotle (I know, what's to contemplate? It's awesome.) Will try to be in bed by 9 to get up at 3, putting Bea to bed at 7. Preparing to spend Friday night in the Cleveland Hopkins airport but will be pleasantly surprised if all flights actually run and we make it to Erie before Saturday. Lots to think about. Trying not to tear into the See's box that's sitting innocently under the tree. What am I going to eat for lunch? There's ice cream...that's about it. It makes me smile that we're that kind of family. Even when the fridge is bare there is ice cream in the freezer. Bea's black eye is healing nicely. I think it will be pretty easy to cover with makeup by Christmas Eve. Looking forward to a warm blanket, a mug of tea, a beautiful REAL Christmas tree and a yellow dog on my parents' couch.
